Brazil has favela ghettos, crime, corruption.
Impressive. Felt like a Movie 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Why so much pathos in music? : )
What's 'pathos'?
nice video and defo inspires me but isnt this also a sense of escapism? like ive got work to do and need to sit down for long periods to get it done and feel country hoping to hang with friends isnt going to push me forward yet the shots on here look so nice and literally a dream!!
Yeah I mean, is that what I talk about during the video? I needed to slow down. There's also a sequel if you wanna see how the story concludes.
Come on man. Selamat datang kembali ke Bali. No turning elsewhere.
Hey chris are already Permanent resident in Bali, how to be Permanent resident to having Legal Business in Bali, you're Awesome my man, Hope your Channel getting Succcess Bro
Epic video. You are quite the story-teller! Happy travels to you! ✈️ Hope you find your "Home". 🏡
Thank you sir.
Hey Chris don’t stress it fella.
Ok thanks bro haha
Are you sharing the villa, or just for yourself? Curious as.to ballpark rates / length of lease for a place like that...
Bruh awesome video but this music sounds like the soundtrack to a morning spent crying in the shower 🤣
How is te visa to relocate from US?
Don't worry, be happy
Hi Chris still freelancer? Good to see you here
haha yes I am.
Chris!!! This video was gold, you need to update it 7 years later! I remember coming to CM after this and been traveling ever since! Cheers!
Pipa is terrible no one should go there.
lol why’s that?
Bali is now a touristic place, not for digital nomads anymore. It's good to learn about new places.
I agree with you to a certain extent. I would adjust that phrase to say, it's not *just* for digital nomads. Definitely a great spot for digital nomads but now you have all kinds of people there (not just digital nomads). I'm talking mainly about Canggu though.
when full video? 😊
Click the button for the related video my man! It's the one with ▶ next to it.
@@ChristheFreelancer Hell yeah. I'll compare with my personal notes on Jampa
A Chair Table good Fan and electric Socket and Jahre with Lemon Juice, thats it❤
LOL I had to comment because I'm OVER 60, and still asking that question!!
Bro this is EPIC... great work. Now I understand why you said 'movie' 🤩
There we go! Thanks bro.
Nice video! I've been here 10 years ago on vacation. And was quite surprised to see it branded as a 'digital nomad' town indeed. Great vacation space but not sure if it is suitable for digital nomands unless you have your own villa with airconditioning and internet
I just came across your channel from one of your older videos in Bali and then watched this one. All I can say is WOW - your storytelling and filmmaking skill is sooo good. I've had some similar storylines to you over the years and am now settled in Gili Trawangan, Lombok. It's a great life. Keep on exploring until you find where feels like home. Bali sounds like a great fit 😀 If you are still working online, we have a coworking space over here now - so keep it in mind for a little island getaway some day. Take care
Ah yeah. What's the name of the coworking space? I'd be down to check it out sometime.
This is very creative. That is what happen to people after breakup. they get more creative 🙂
with those tight fitting jeans, its no wonder bro. try to be more masculine.
You’re right man. She dumped me for the jeans. Never making that mistake again!
@@ChristheFreelancer GG man. Keep on hustling.
What happened to David Bond's youtube channel? It disappeared.
Hey Chris, glad you have almost settled down! Your journey has been something I have followed. I am a few steps away from being completely location independent. Bali is a destination that was on my list pre COVID, and haven't had the chance to go there since. Maybe this winter I will visit, building my client base whilst teaching at university, currently have a concrete base of 12 clients, i aim to have that base up to 20, then the adhoc clients that come and go! Exciting times ahead for me, and looking forward to more content from you!
what type of visa are you holding to stay long term in Bali?
It’s a multi-entry one-year business visa. Think D2 is the name
When the thong bikini and boom boom aspect of Brazil is out of the equation, its a very expensive and screwball country for the most part.
I wouldn't say it's very expensive but it's nowhere as convenient as Southeast Asia (where the tourism market is a lot more international and developed)
What tax rate do you pay by living there? I live in dubai as it’s easily the best tax haven in the world. Tax is a major factor for me.
Still working on my tax situation. Talking to a few consultants.
Love the videos living the dream
I was there in December 2023, it has become a nightmare of a place. An area strangled in traffic where it takes forever to make even a couple of km, super noisy, polluted, full of obnoxious foreigners, and locals (these always harass you to sell you something). A complete different thing from what I saw in 2019, I don't think I want to go back in there anytime soon. South East Asia is full of places that are wayy better. I guess everyone has his own tastes. Canggu has some cool spot and places but they're all immersed into too much chaos imo
Thanks for sharing. I read a lot of comments like this before I came back which really concerned me but then when I got here, I realised it’s not that different from what I remembered. I think the community was a bit more down-to-earth back in the day and maybe the traffic is worse but I don’t think it’s gone too far south.
How is your life in Canggu in 2024? Could you share more about your current favorite spots, costs, etc.? These things seem to change over the years.
Got way more content on Bali on my Tik Tok and Instagram if you wanna check me out there
Appreciate the perspective man!
Great video! Love the journey and the honesty
Thanks brother
Back to Nimmanhaemin brother. 600 USD a month brother
haha nah man. Those days are over
@@ChristheFreelancer come on brother
WOW! Chris, this is a masterpiece! I can't wait to see you somewhere soon my friend 🫶🏼
Thank you man. Means a lot coming from a talented creator like yourself 🫶
What a video 🎉
Interesting one. I can definitely relate on sometimes feeling like "you're missing something". I went to Chiang Mai last year and had exactly this feeling, then came back to my girlfriend who lives on the countryside of Taiwan, and even though this place is definitely not a digital nomad hotspot, it just felt right. After my girlfriend's studies this year we might be moving to a more popular spot, but for some weird reason, of all the places in the world, I feel the best just right here. Sorry for the abrupt end to your relationship... btw I was in Gold Coast last week, nice place!
Thanks for sharing
amazing! luv 😍
It's strange how similar are our thoughts about places what we have been visiting. In Africa you could try Cape Town and some hidden gems on Garden Route.
Great content creator (one of the best)! looking forward to your next adventure in Africa. my only advise (and this is from a fan of yours) quite party drinking or at least make it occasional as it will deeply effect your mental health as you party way too much and will appreciate yourself even better. especially with your line of work....... try this for sometime, your videos will take a leap then judge me. all the best Chris
Thanks mate. Don’t worry, I’m not partying/drinking as much these days.
bro wtf they get you skol? lol this beer is terrible
Nick’s idea.
he doesn't know...
Thats was a cool Vid Chris. Ive been wondering where you have been lately. Looks like you are keeping busy but most importantly still living the dream no matter where you are. I look fwd to more from you. Safe travels
Great video Chris! It's cool to see your story through this video. Hope our paths cross again in the future! 🙌🏽
Thanks bro. See you soon.
Lower frequency of video posts but incredible quality. Can't wait for the next one!
I think i saw this episode last time you came over mate.
not sure what you're talking about mate
Cmon man, women break up all the time, don't take any of it seriously no matter what happens.
Obviously but this one I felt very strongly about.
yeah but women on average hop onto the next bloke in no time. mostly because they don't have to do any work just accept or reject advances.
@@elcapitan6126 Exactly, women devote less time into each of their relationships because on avg, they have the upper hand if they're below 30. More men need to realize that women don't care so men shouldn't either.
🔥
Bali 😍😍😍 my island. I'm coming.
... see you in Dubai or Cape Town
